Introducing the Moth
This moth is the single biggest pest for global plant agriculture. In Australia it is called the cotton bollworm. In India it is called the American Bollworm. Scientists call it Helicoverpa amigera. This moth and its close relatives overcome chemical insecticide to attack over 100 crop plant species at an annual cost of over $US5 billion. It is time to fight the moth intelligently.
